For clarity, this may include private properties that the Council does not own, but is managing or is responsible for in some other way, such as local lettings. \nThe volume of work orders issued through this Contract may fluctuate and as such each Tenderer must be able to provide a flexible and scalable service that is capable of handling increases and decreases in demand throughout the Contract term. Given the nature of the work and the continued reduction in the number of buildings containing asbestos, it is entirely possible that volumes will reduce, although the Council cannot guarantee that this will be the case. \nTenderers should note that this Contract does not allow for the removal of asbestos. The removal of asbestos will be managed via a different contract which is scheduled to end 31st March 2027. It is the Councils intention to retender for the asbestos removals Contract but cannot guarantee this or the chosen procurement route. \nThe Contractor who is successful in being awarded the Asbestos Surveys and Analytical Works Contract (this procurement exercise) will be unable to bid for the planned Asbestos Removal Services contract. This extends to any organisations who are part of the same business group, i.e. organisations who share the same ultimate parent company.
