divided into the following Lots: \n• Lot 1 - NGET Asbestos Consultancy Services \n• Lot 2 - NGET Asbestos Removal Services \n• Lot 3 - NGED Asbestos Consultancy Services \n• Lot 4 - NGED Asbestos Removal Services \nThe Asbestos Consultancy Services shall include, but not be limited to: \n• Undertaking management Surveys, refurbishment and demolition surveys, re-inspections, asbestos risk assessments and site-specific management plans. \n• The Consultant shall provide sampling, testing and laboratory analysis through UKAS-accredited facilities, undertake air monitoring and four-stage clearance procedures, and issue all relevant certification and reports. \n• The Consultant shall also provide technical advice, quality assurance, compliance auditing, contractor oversight, specification development for remediation works and support to procurement activities where required. \n• In addition, the Consultant shall provide and maintain a secure web-based asbestos management database to enable the storage, management and reporting of asbestos-related information across the National Grid sites. \nThe Asbestos Removal Services shall include: \n• Licensed and non-licensed asbestos works undertaken in accordance with CAR 2012 and all applicable HSE guidance. \n• Licensed works shall be undertaken by appropriately licensed asbestos contractors and may include asbestos removal, encapsulation, remediation, environmental cleaning, decontamination, emergency response, installation of enclosures, dismantling of asbestos-containing plant and equipment, and the
