Which is under construction and is anticipated to be ready for use from the beginning of July 2026.\n3: Shared Lives: This service is for the management and recruitment of shared lives providers. The scope of the service will include:\n•\tLong term arrangements\n•\tNon-residential short breaks\n•\tResidential short breaks\n•\tEmergency placements\nShared Lives is care that centres on sharing homes, family and community life and are an alternative to home care, supported living and residential care for people with eligible adult social care needs.\nTo be able to deliver the scheme your organisation will need to be CQC registered.\nShared Lives providers will be person-centred and strength-based and will be flexible in addressing the changing needs of the people that they support.\nThe provider will manage the Shared Lives Scheme by ensuring that the need of the people being supported are met.
