All other criteria previously published must still be met.\nThis decision reflects current delays in the CQC inspection process, with some providers waiting longer than the recommended 12 months for their first inspection following registration.\nFor a limited period, we will now allow for care providers that are registered who have not yet been inspected by the CQC, to apply to join the DPS.\nAs with the current requirements to join the DPS providers must have been operating for a minimum of 12 months, delivering domiciliary care within the Windsor and Maidenhead area, and be able to demonstrate extensive local knowledge and understanding. Providers must also evidence that they are CQC ready and undergo a review of their policies, procedures, and supporting documentation by the Council's Care Quality Assurance Team.\nThe only selection criteria to change will be the requirement to be currently rated 'good' as described above.
