Description
The Council wishes to appoint a supplier to deliver a countywide service for Minor Adaptations and Independence at Home in Worcestershire.
Lot 1. Lot 1 Minor Adaptations
Description
Under the Care Act 2014 , the Council has a statutory duty for the provision of minor housing adaptations without charge. The Minor Adaptations service for Worcestershire will include provision for the following: Banister rails, Drop down rails, Floor to ceiling poles, Galvanised rails, Half steps, Key safes, Lever taps, Metal grab rails, Newel rails, Plastic grab rails, Shower seats, Toilet frames, Temporary ramps. This list should not be viewed as exhaustive.
Lot 2. Lot 2 Independence at Home
Description
The Independence at Home service aims to support people to regain their independence through providing responsive, short-term, practical, compassionate, and personalised support to enable a person, wherever safely possible, to prevent a hospital admission, or return to their own home following a stay in hospital.
