The Demolition, Disablement and Access (DDA) Programme within the Specialist EOD, Exploitation & Countermeasures (SEEC) Delivery Team (DT) have launched a project to procure Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) Method of Entry (MoE) support equipment. The equipment requirement consists of a large variety of hand tools, ancillaries and materials, approx. 125 items.
It is the Authorities intent to invite participation from suppliers who can demonstrate they are Commercially Compliant and can meet the Technical requirements of being able to support and supply a variety of MoE equipment types.
It is the Authorities intention to Award a circa 5-year contract to one Prime supplier to deliver this requirement.
The Authority will be releasing a Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (DPQQ) associated with this opportunity in the coming weeks.
The existing Defence Contracts Online (DCO) platform has been phased out and replaced with the Defence Sourcing Portal (DSP). Therefore, the Authority will be conducting all applicable advertising and potential procurement exercises via the DSP. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register on the new platform at contracts.mod.uk to ensure access to the most up to date information.
The Authority is mandated to consider Social Value in the award of any Contract. More information about Social Value can be found here.
