Stonewater is seeking a contractor to support the build of a new development on land situated off/at The Firs, Meriden. The scheme comprises 75 units.
The tenure mix intended for the site is as follows:
Affordable rent - 23

Social rent – 22
The existing site comprises of dense continuous bramble scrub, semi-natural woodland, native species rich hedgerows, with scattered mature trees and saplings. Whilst the land is for pasture use, it has not been used for grazing purposes for some time. The site is close to nearby residential areas, a retirement scheme at adjoining land called The Firs (Stonewater) and the village itself of Meriden. It is also within a short distance of the A45 and M42 and within easy reach of Birmingham, Birmingham International Airport and train station and other smaller train stations.
