Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) has patients with a diverse range of mental health problems from dementia, to young adults with acute psychological conditions.

These patients stay as in-patients on 30 Wards in several locations in Norfolk and Suffolk. Their time of stay will range from just a few days to over eighteen months and in some cases, they become permanent residents.

In addition to the main food offering, the Trust currently supplies an out-of-hours cold food offering to 22 inpatient settings 24/7.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This tender calls for Catering (Sandwich/Salad and other chilled foods) Services across the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) patient sites. This tender covers a comprehensive range and full details of the service provision are contained within the Invitation to Tender documentation.

To complement our hot meal provision, the Trust is looking for a supplier to provide a range of sandwiches and salads, along with other possible options (such as wraps, baguettes, protein pots, and sausage rolls).

The Trust seeks a contractor to supply and deliver pre-ordered sandwiches and salads to designated locations in accordance with adopted quality systems and current food hygiene legislation.

NSFT intends to put an (initial) 12-month contract in place, with three further extension options of up to 12 months each available: agreeable as per the contract document. The provisional start date for proposed services is 1st August 2022.

The deadline for tender submissions is Noon, on Thursday 16th June 2022.
