Nottingham City Council is seeking to appoint a sufficiently experienced and qualified contractors to deliver an orientation, casework, and employment support service to vulnerable individuals and families resettled in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire under the United Kingdom’s humanitarian refugee resettlement schemes.
The service will facilitate the successful resettlement of refugees in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire in order to meet responsibilities for local authorities in regard to Resettling Refugees under the UKRS, ARAP, ACS and other such schemes to provide an orientation, casework, and employment support service to vulnerable individuals and families resettled in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire under the United Kingdom’s humanitarian refugee resettlement schemes.
The service will enable refugees to access to a range of public services and voluntary support to improve health and wellbeing. During the duration of the service a foundation for life in the UK and an understanding of the local culture, services and opportunities will be achieved.
