two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Kings Norton Girls' School is seeking a partnership to continue to maximise the opportunity of the catering facilities within the school and to further enhance the dining experience for both staff and students. The School currently benefit from a financial return. Investment opportunities will be considered, in particular to alleviate queuing and to enhance the 6th Form dining area/kitchen. The contract will be awarded for a period of 3 years commencing from MONDAY 1ST AUGUST 2022 with an option to extend for a further one plus one years, which will be measured on the achievement of agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
The School gained academy status in 2012 and admits girls in the 11-19 age range. There are currently circa 1000 students on roll. The proportion of students known to be eligible for free school meals is average. The proportion of students from minority ethnic groups is above average.
